Second Round of Poultry Distribution Successfully Completed

On 17 June 2026, Your Voice Organization (YVO), under the project Life-Saving Food Assistance and Resilience Improvement for Vulnerable Households, in partnership with PWJ, successfully conducted the 2rd round of poultry (chicken) distribution in Khewa District, Nangarahar Province.

A total of 71 households out of 120 targeted households received assistance.

Each household received 12 chickens, totaling 852 chickens distributed.

It should be noted that in the first distribution, 120 households received 30 egg-laying chickens per household. In this second round, each household received an additional 12 chickens, bringing the total to 42 egg-laying chickens per household.

This intervention aims to support vulnerable families by improving livelihood opportunities and strengthening household resilience.
