Peace education at the grassroots level is implemented so people understand the value of peace and avoid violence. Also, local peace mechanisms are in place and are actively resolving community conflicts.
We think a number of activities that use informal communication methods to raise awareness on peace and conflict issues can build grassroots support for peaceful processes of conflict resolution and promote behavior changes. Specific activities to be implemented are as follows:
